Overview
We live in a world where change is the only constant. How we communicate and manage change is critically important. Through interactive activities and structured exercises participants will learn how to plan for and position change and you will be provided with the skills and tools to successfully introduce and implement change. You will also learn how to approach and deal with the barriers to change including culture and human dynamics.
Course Objectives
This programme will help you to:
- Understand and manage change:Â Learn how to plan for and position change, understanding the human dynamics and how to overcome resistance to change.
- Understand the different types of change:Â Incremental; Transformational; Organisational.
- Learn how to embed change and new behaviours: Introduce change and communicate effectively, while creating a ‘Change Able’ culture to embed lasting change within your organisation.
- Develop a ‘Change Able’ Toolkit: Gain a clear understanding of the step-by-step process of change as you apply the models and theories to your own context.

During the course, you will be introduced to a range of tools and models. You will receive a ‘Change able toolkit’ which can be used in the workplace to assess the barriers and enablers for change.

Trainer Profile

He has worked throughout Europe, the United States, Saudi Arabia, China, Malaysia & the Philippines. This rich industry experience allows him to contextualise each programme to the unique needs of the audience.
A senior IMI Associate member Kevin specialises in Leadership and Organisational & Professional Development, working with both private and public sector clients here in Ireland and internationally. In addition, Kevin has worked extensively in the areas of Emotional Intelligence, Change Leadership/Management, Stakeholder Management, Team Development, and in launching and facilitating strategic project teams. Kevin is a Programme Director for a number of IMI leadership programmes and delivers programmes and modules on change on a number of IMI~ client programmes.
