Overview
This one-day training is designed for new managers or career professionals stepping into their first management role. Stepping into management is an exciting career milestone—but transitioning from an individual contributor to a leader brings new challenges and responsibilities, requiring a shift in mindset, skills, and strategies.
This training blends evidence-based management theories, leadership psychology, and practical exercises to equip new managers with the tools needed to lead with confidence. Participants will engage in reflective activities, case studies, and peer discussions to develop essential management skills and leave with a personalised action plan for success.
The training includes 5 modules:
- Understanding Self – The Foundation of Effective Leadership
- Self in Context – The Shift from Individual Contributor to Broader Contributor.
- Management Fundamentals – Essential Roles & Responsibilities of a New Manager.
- Leading Teams – Building Trust, Engagement & Psychological Safety.
- Sustainable Management – Productivity, Resilience & Well-being Practices.
